- Clapham Answers The Call To Arms/Those listed below are those men who fought in World War One who/had some considerable link with the Clapham civil parish. They were/reported to have died in the war or as a direct result of the war./ However, they are not listed on the Clapham War Memorial, although/they may be on others in the area (Bentham or Ingleton). Thanks to/the research of Ken Pearce, in 2018 we are able to recognize their/sacrifice and remember them in Clapham/[names.]
