Description
Gravespace delineated by four chamfered kerb sections with headstone standing on top kerb, space heavily vegetation contaminated. Headstone is undecorated horizontal rectangle with inscribed, self coloured lettering and an undecorated small foot extending horizontally forward from entire width of base.

THIS STONE IS ERECTED IN SACRED AND LOVING MEMORY OF MY DEAR HUSBAND WILLIAM BECKETT AND HARRY’S DEAR DADDY, WHO WAS WOUNDED AND MISSING SEPT 16TH 1916, IN THE BATTLE OF THE SOMME AND LATER PRESUMED DEAD. CHRIST WILL LINK THE BROKEN CHAIN WHEN WE MEET AGAIN.
