- The cross is set on a triple stone base, all in poor condition. There is an illustration of the cross in a display inside the church.
- Inscription
- The lower part of the inscription is very difficult to read, so has been taken from illustration inside the church. IN/LOVING MEMORY/OF/SAMUEL EDWARD MILLS/BORN SEPT. 10TH 1859/DIED OCT. 25TH 1915/ALSO BENJAMIN HENRY HIS SON/LANCE CORPORAL 2ND SUFFOLKS/WHO WAS KILLED IN ACTION SEPT. 30TH 1915
