- A simple stone cross on a square plinth located on a base which incorporates a recessed planting bed. On the side of the plinth is a plaque.
- Inscription
- /Erected by public subscription in Bethnal Green/to the men, women and children of the Borough who lost their/lives in The Great War 1914-1918 and World War II 1939-45/and thereafter on active service./ "They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old:/Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn./At the going down of the sun and in the morning/We will remember them."
