Description
Three glazed-framed panels in St Mary's Church, comprising a replica of Storrington's WW1 Roll of Honour. (A further replica hangs on the outer wall of the White Horse building in Storrington - see War Memorials Register reference 87846. The original Roll of Honour panels are in Storrington and District Museum - see War Memorials Register reference 58659, which has a transcription of all the names/service data of the 89 people named on the Roll of Honour).

  • West Sussex Gazette 19/11/2014 (westsussextoday.co.uk/news/roll-of-honour-restored-to-original-site-1-6424827 ) described how the original Roll of Honour panels came to light, and stated that two replicas had been placed in Storrington: one at the White Horse and this one at St Mary's Church.
  • Imperial War Museum's War Memorials Register reference 58659 relates to the original panels, which are now at Storrington and District Museum. A transcription of all the names data from the three Roll of Honour panels is attached to that record 58659.
  • Imperial War Museum War Memorials Register reference 87846 relates to the replica placed on the White Horse building
