Description
Rectangular bronze plaque on a marble backing. The upper edge of the plaque is arched to a point. Foliate borders and two pillars. Floral emphasis in top corners, lower half of side edges, and bottom side. Crossed flags head the plaque. Gold lettering.

HIGHLAND LIGHT INFANTRY)/ WHO WERE KILLED OR MORTALLY WOUNDED IN THE VARIOUS ACTIONS IN/ WHICH THE REGIMENT WAS ENGAGED/ IN INDIA 1789 TO 1805./ (NAMES)/ AND 225 N.C.O. AND MEN/ IN THE PENINSULAR AND FRANCE 1810 TO 1814./ (NAMES)/ AND 146 N.C.O. AND MEN/ IN SOUTH AFRICA 1851-2/ (NAMES)/ AND 27 N.C.O. AND MEN IN EGYPT 1882/ (NAMES)/ AND 21 N.C.O.
