- Description
- Stone cenotaph with an arched top, which stands on a circular paved area in front of the main entrance of the Kent Police Headquarters. The north face has a vertical sundial above the dedicatory inscription. The south face has two plaques bearing the names of casualties: the upper plaque is one of three relating to World War 2; the lower plaque relates to World War 1. The other two World War 2 plaques are on the west and east faces.

- The memorial was originally placed in the field behind the fingerprint/photography building on the same site in September 1949, but was later moved to its current position in front of the entrance to the main building.
