Description
Two plaques to former pupils of the 'old' Edward VI Grammar School, the WW 1 plaque is mounted directly above the WW 2 one. The WW 1 memorial is of cast bronze mounted on a wooden backboard. The 'old school' crest is at the top of the plaque surrounded by a wreath of laurel leaves, underneath is the school motto followed by an inscription and names. The WW 2 memorial is a plain brass plaque mounted on a wooden backboard. The inscription is incised and picked out in black with a single black lined outer border
