SACRED TO THE MEMORY OF/ Gwynfred Ellis Griffiths/ (1ST WILTSHIRE REGIMENT)/OF WEDGWOOD HOUSE LLANDILO, AGED 39 YEARS,/ WHO FELL IN ACTION ON OCTOBER 8TH 1918 AND WAS BURIED/ IN BOIS DES ANGLES BRITISH CEMETERY CREVECOEUR-SUR-L'ESCAUT./ HE GAVE HIS LIFE FOR HIS COUNTRY AND HIS SOUL TO GOD.
