- Aberdeen Press and Journal - Tuesday 14 December 1920 BLACKHILLS AND LHANBRYD MEMORIAL. A memorial to the memory the 25 men from Blackhills and Lhanbryd was unveiled by Col. J. Johnston of Leemurdie, Elgin, on Sunday. The memorial built into the right hand side of the wall at the entrance to the old churchyard, and faces the road leading from Lhanbryd to the railway station.
