Description
Rectangular brass plaque , the longer axis horizontal , on a wood backboard . Within a three line border containing equally spaced rosettes , at top left the escutcheon of Cambridge University and at top right the badge of the Somerset Light Infantry . The dedication is incised in Gothic lettering , mainly coloured black with the main initials in red .
