- Crucifix adorned with monumental floral emblems and rifle, standing on three step stone base bearing a carved inscription.
- Inscription
- Erected to the dear/ memory of/ Pte. JH (Harry) Jones./ 1st KSLI./ Eldest son of/ Samuel and the late Alice E Jones./ Who died of wounds in France April 4th 1917./ Aged 23 years. There exists one further line of text, now partially illegible, referring to Private Jones’ final place of rest in Bethune Town cemetery.
