Kemnay's memorial to those belonging to the district who fell in the war - a handsome granite granite monument - was unveiled yesterday afternoon by Lieut.-Colonel Robert Bruce, D.S.O., M.D., late commanding officer of the 7th Battalion Gordon Highlanders (T.). Colonel the Rev. James Smith, St George's-in-the-West, Parish Church, Aberdeen, conducted a memorial service at the unveiling ceremony, and dedicated the memorial Smith, Sy George's-in-the-West, Parish Church, Aberdeen, conducted a memorial service at the Amongst those present at the were Col. Douglas Grant, Monymusk; Lady Arthur Grant and Master Arthur Grant of Moneymusk; Lt.-Col. Kelly. Territorial Army Association for Aberdeenshire and Kincardineshire; Dr W Hendry, Kemnay, chairman of the War Memorial Committee; and the Rev. F. Lovie, M.C., Monymusk, late of the Gordon Highlanders. ......
