Description
Tall tapered sandstone octagonal base surmounted by octagonal shaft with carved capital and latin cross. Names on cast bronze plaques placed on the sides of the base. Iron railings surround the memorial with entrance gate on the roadside. On four facets of the cross are carved the Scottish Arms, the St. Andrews Cross, the arms of the county of Perth and the arms of the Burgh of Crieff. The other four facets of the capital have the Scottish thistle carved on them. Two carved bands on the shaft bearing the badges of the regiments most represented on the roll of honour and designs symbolising the colonies and nursing service.

2009: Second World War names plaques have deteriorated making the names difficult to read. July 2018 Second World War panel still in poor condition - added some images of it.

Comments: The memorial fund raised £1757, the memorial costing £1180. With the extra money, £150 was given to the Council as a trust fund for maintenance and £350 to Crieff Cottage Hospital.
