- Description
- Rectangular, stone structure Front face has inscription panel, decorated in Gothic style at the top to resemble a church window. Names inscribed in black. Simple, rectangular plaque added below for WW2. In between the two names panels is a metal plaque identifying the memorial as having been originally sited in the now derelict Moorlands factory at the other side of the road. The memorial has stone flags to the front and the two sides. The whole is set within a small park with trees, some shrubs and flowers and a bench. A metal chain has been affixed at the base of the memorial to secure a wreath The company was a maker of sheepskin rugs and slippers in Glastonbury that closed around the 1970s.
