- Grey slate plaque attached to wall on the seafront promenade in Criccieth, North Wales. At top is an incised Free French cross of Lorraine in white. Below are incised inscriptions in white in Welsh, French and English, separated by horizontal white dotted lines.

- Er Cof am y Ffrancwyr Rhyddion "Kieffer" commandos a fu'n/ lletya yng Nghriccieth o Orffennaf 1942 hyd Mai 1943/ Ac mewn gwerthfawrogiad o'r lletygarwch a ddangoswyd i'r/ Ffrancwyr ifanc gan drigolion Criccieth A la memoire des commandos "Kieffer" de la France Libre,/ qui etaient loges chez les habitants de Criccieth/ de juillet 1942 jusqu'a mai 1943/ Et en reconnaissance de l'hospitalite accordee a ces jeunes/ Francais par les citoyens de Criccieth In memory of the Free French "Kieffer" commandos,/ who were billeted in Criccieth from July 1942 to May 1943/ And in gratitude to the hospitality shown towards those young/ Frenchmen by the people of Criccieth
