  • The Scotsman Monday 1st February 1926. METHIL PARISH CHURCH WAR MEMORIAL Prof. Milligan, ex-moderator of the Church of Scotland, yesterday performed the dedication ceremony of the war memorial in the new Methil Parish Church, gifted by the Baird Trust, and opened Thursday last. The memorial takes place in the form of six stained glass windows, three in each transept, to the design of the Royal College of Art, Edinburgh. The names, 90 in number, are preserved on bronze tablets, framed in marble, in the vestibule. In the evening a thanksgiving service was also conducted by Professor Milligan.
