Upright grey stone gravestone , straight sides sloping slightly outwards , the top formed by two convex curves leading to a shallow point . The inscription incised but not coloured .

/In Loving Memory of/ IHS /FRANK SHELLEY /WHO DEPARTED THIS LIFE /AUGUST 4TH 1915/AGED 60 YEARS /ALSO ELIZABETH FRANCES/WIDOW OF THE ABOVE /WHO DIED DECEMBER 2ND 1920/AGED 66 YEARS/AND SEGT WILLIAM SHELLEY/ KILLED IN ACTION AT ARRAS /MARCH 28 1918/AGED 37 YEARS /AT REST/ note - The I of "IHS" is surmounted by a cross , the whole forming a Christogram
