- Description
- A Celtic wheel-cross on a tapering octagonal pillar, which rests on a four-sided plinth bearing the engraved names of the World War 1 casualties. The plinth stands on an ornately carved hexagonal base, which bears the dedication regarding World War 1 casualties plus the dedication and names of World War 2 casualties. The base is now surrounded by a low chain and post fence (having formerly stood on a hexagonal concrete/paved foundation).

- 23/3/2016: The memorial was Grade II Listed by Historic England.// 2014: The War Memorials Trust made a grant of £235 towards the conservation and repair of the memorial; this included cleaning and painting of lettering etc, and also the replacement of the former paving around the plinth with gravel, and a low chain-link fence, attached to stone pillars.
