- Description
- Three light stained glass windows with tracery lights above, the centre top being a five petal rose shaped window with an airborne 'Winged Eagle' badge in centre. Inscription at the base and Battle Honours from Africa to Iraq on the left and right lights. Later Corps badge depicted at the top of the centre light flanked by wings in the left and light hand sides. In the left hand light there is a Chinook helicopter and two Apache helicopters above troops on the ground. In the centre light there is a Hercules aircraft dropping parachutists, an Apache helicopter, troops disembarking from a Chinook helicopter and a Figure of a signaller in the field. In the right hand light there are troops and signallers deployed under fire in the desert. On the window sill below is a dedicatory brass plaque with inscribed writing and regimental badges on the top corners, mounted on a backboard.
