DURING THE / GREAT WAR AND FELL IN THE ATTACK ON BEAUMONT- / HAMEL (BATTLE OF THE SOMME) JULY 1ST 1916 AGED 46 YEARS / HE LIES IN THE MILITARY CEMETERY AT AUCHONVILLERS. / "He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle was against me." / PS.
