- Description
- Single Light Stained Glass Window. The window was largely lost but a part of it went to New Cumnock Church to replace a window blown out in a storm and there is a surviving photograph of the window- sadly not good enough to read the inscription.
- Inscription
- The window wass in three sections, the first illustrating the words, “I have finished my course”; the second, “I have fought a good fight”; and the third, “I have kept the faith”. On a scroll at the top of the window was inscribed - “For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand”; and the inscription at the foot reads:- “To the glory of God, and in affectionate and lasting remembrance of the members of Blairgowrie Parish Church who gave their lives in the Great War, 1914- 1919. Their names liveth for evermore”
