- Description
- Large Illustrated Roll of Honour in a glazed wooden frame, with the names in 7 columns. This lists 774 men and women of the town who served, of whom 82 fell. Giving ranks and service units this is a valuable tool in researching the town in WW1. However, as with all such Rolls of Honour, it's completeness can be questioned when compared with the church's own memorial (our reference 80587) which has 91 fallen.
