- Description
- A shrine of dressed sandstone built into the exterior wall of the kirk opposite Burns' Cottage. The commemoration and names of the WWI dead are on three bronze panels set on the face of the wall within a classical frame of pillasters but capped with carved tympanums with heraldic designs. The names of the WWII dead are on a grey granite tablet set at the base of the memorial.
