Description
Cast bronze plaque mounted on a bright red alabaster backboard. Above the raised inscription is a battlefield scene depicting a horse-drawn ambulance, with a soldier steadying the horses as a stretcher is lifted into the rear. Behind the wagon a mounted soldier looks down at a soldier dressing a comrade's wounds.
