Description

Brass Lamp of Remembrance with small dedicatory plaque. Lamp is in regular use and does become covered in candle wax but is equally regularly cleaned.

ALAN ABRAHAM / WALLER/ JANUARY 1944/ TEVETH 5704 (The latter is the Hebrew (Lunar calendar ) date of Sgt Waller's death. Teveth the month, the numerals the year. Some families choose to use both this and the secular calendar on tombstones/memorials etc)
