- Description
- A tall grey granite Celtic cross (a replica of the St Matins Cross, Isle of Iona) with wheel-head and bosses standing on a tapering pedestal and two low steps. The commemorations are at the base of the cross shaft on both sides and the names of the WWI dead are listed in lead lettering on the face and sides of the pedestal. The names of the WWII dead have been added in lead lettering at the rear face of the pedestal. The monument stands in front of the kirk on a raised bank of grass in the village.
