- In memory of a devoted husband and much loved father George Grant Mackenzie, Chemist, Alness who died at Westbank, Inverurie on 12th Feb 1927 in his 82nd year and of Jessie MacDonald his wife who died on 3rd Aug 1939 in her 90th year. His 2nd son George Arthur who died at Alladale, Alness on 2nd Sept 1888 in his third year. His third son George Arthur MacKenzie MA Hons. 2nd Lieut 8th Batt. Gordon Highlanders who fell at The Battle of Loos 25th Sept 1915 age 24 years. In memory of George Arthur MacKenzie MA (Hons) Student of Medicine, Alladale, Alness 2nd Lieut 8th Batt Gordon Highlanders who fell in action at the village of Raisnes , France 25th Sept 1915 aged 24 years
