- Description
- Rectangular parchment Roll of Honour, entirely hand-drawn/written. The large capital 'E' of Essex in the inscription contains a drawing of a police officer carrying a truncheon and a lit torch, walking with a spaniel beside him. (Of the 15 men whose initials and surname were originally listed upon the Roll of Honour, two had become illegible by June 2000, due to deterioration of the parchment).
