- Description
- Cenotaph on cruciform plinth and octagonal two stepped base. Surmounted by an urn with a lion on its front face and flanked by draping laurel leaves. Army, navy, and RAF shields positioned on sides of plinth. A six sided frieze around top with reliefs of aircrat, tank, bomb, airship, and gas mask. Inscription in black lettering on marble tablets on base.
