Description
Addition to family gravestone, which is a white marble Latin cross, on four white marble steps, which is on a large granite base on which the word "ASLEEP" is in relief. The lettering is raised lead.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF / THOMAS HENRY SMITH / TWEED MANUFACTURER, INVERNESS / BORN 26 SEPTEMBER 1846, DIED 28 JULY 1902, / AND OF MARIANNE ETHEL, HIS ONLY DAUGHTER / BORN 3 SEPTEMBER 1884, DIED 4 DECEMBER 1913. / ALSO OF JOHN COCHRANE [SMITH] HIS ELDEST SON / CAPTAIN 68TH BATTALION CANADIAN INFANTRY / BORN 14 DECEMBER 1885, KILLED IN ACTION / AT THE PASSCHENADAELE RIDGE, FRANCE 10TH NOVEMBER 1917. / ALSO MARY JANE KATHERINE MCEWEN, BELOVED WIFE OF / THE ABOVE THOMAS H.
