- Addition to upright, painted stone, family gravestone. The top is shouldered with a curved top. The lettering is incised.
- Inscription
- Erected by Qtr. Mr. Sergt. James Dawson, HLI Militia, Inverness in memory of his son James who died 20th March 1867 aged 1 year. Also of his daughter Barbara 26th Dec 1880 aged 1 year. Also his mother in law Mary Ann Low Brown of Montrose died 20th March 1895 aged 85 years and is interred here. And his youngest son Frank S Dawson, 1st Gordon Highlanders who died of wounds in France on 16th Nov 1914 aged 32 years. Also of his wife Barbara Brown who died 12th March 1927 aged 87 years and of the above James Dawson who died 24th March 1932 aged 92 years. (all in capital letters)
