- Description
- Inscribed granite plinth, surmounted by a carved stone figure of an officer in khaki drill, sun helmet and Sam Browne belt, with left hand resting on a sheathed sword. The plinth is from the original memorial (recorded on this database as memorial number 18517). The statue is a replacement, erected in 2013, for the original statue, which was removed in 1968 and subsequently lost. The memorial is set within railings.
