The memorial was located in the school library. Dunstable Grammar closed in 1971: Ashton Middle School then used the buildings until it too closed in 2016.

- An oak board with a metal longsword in the centre, an oak moulding surround and a Tudor rose boss at each corner. The commemoration is engraved at the top, the names on either side of the sword.
