To commemorate the self sacrifice/ of/ GARRATT PRIMROSE JENKINS,/ Second-Lieutenant, R.F.A., /who gave up his young life in his/ Country's defence in the Great War/ This tablet is erected as a mark of sympathy with his father/ MAJOR A.P. JENKINS/ 11th Battalion Royal Irish Rifles/ who suffered wounds and imprisonment in the same cause,/ by his colleagues of the Lisburn Urban District Council./ 1917
