- Description
- Plain marble tablet with inscribed lettering in two columns. While the tablet does not state which conflict it relates to (it may well originally have had an extra, now lost, portion for that), detailed local research has demonstrated that all the names relate to WW1. This is directly below another Marble Tablet (the upper tablet in the attached image) which has a gold cross in a wreath in a central panel, which sits proud of the rest of the memorial, the names being on 2 side panels. That tablet is thought to have originally been in a different church, and is our reference 87216.
