- The Scotsman 24 November 1920- Bunkle & Preston - A Celtic cross erected at Preston in memory of the men from the united parish of Bunkle & Preston, Berwickshire, was unveiled by the Earl of Home. A brief service in the Village Hall was conducted by Rev L Mair, parish minister.
