Photograph in a glazed wooden frame with a framed paper explanatory note and both her medals in separate frames-the QARANC Insignia Badge and the Royal Red Cross Medal
Inscription
ANASTASIA PATRICIA KEOGH,/originally from Co. Wexford, Ireland, /came to be known affectionately to/her many friends in Aviemore and/elsewhere as Paddy Keogh/ On the outbreak of the 1914/18 War/she enlisted in the Q.A.R.A.N.C. and/served as a field nurse at Gallipoli/and with Allenby's armies in/Palestine, where she suffered total/loss of hearing due to exposure to/heavy gunfire in forward battle areas./ She was twice mentioned in/despatches for conspicuous bravery./and decorated with the ROYAL RED/CROSS./ She died on the 24th September 1956/at the age of 70. To the end, she/retained her undying respect for men/of the HIGHLAND DIVISION in both/World Wars.
