Details: "The Memorial was paid for by public subscription from villagers. The collection started in January 1919 and raised the sum of £225.14s 6p. The memorial was unveiled and dedicated at a special service on Sunday 25th July, 1920" (Taken from booklet 'Stories behind the Stone Cross' available from Crickhowell Local History Centre)
