+/TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN LOVING MEMORY OF/ALAN EDWARD GREY HULTON/BARRISTER-AT-LAW AND FELLOW OF ALL SOULS COLLEGE, OXFORD/HE WAS BORN IN THIS PARISH AND THE ONLY SON OF/REAR ADMIRAL EDWARD GREY & LOUISA HULTON/HE WAS WOUNDED NR YPRES IN FLANDERS APRIL 25TH 1915/WHILE SERVING IN THE GREAT WAR AS/LIEUTENANT IN THE ARMY SERVICE CORPS/AND DIED IN LONDON JUNE 6TH 1915 AGED 29 YEAES/"Let those who were after see to it that his name be not forgotten"
