Description
Brass Plaque on oak backboard. There is a wide border pattern of thistles and leaves, raised in casting with the background enamelled black. Inside this, passion flowers at top right and left fill the corners, leaving the main panel with an arched top. At centre top is a highly ornamented cross enamelled in red. Part of the dedication is in archaic script, the quotation at the bottom is in Gothic script. The names are listed in a single column using Roman capitals
