Near this place / are deposited /the remains of/JAMES BRADBY Esq/Rear Admiral of/His Majesty's Navy/who departed this life on 3rd of/August 1809 , aged 72 years/and MARY wife of the above/Rear Admiral Bradby/who died on the 20th April 1808/aged 63 years/also of Matthew Barton Bradby Esq/their son , Captain in the Royal Navy/who was unfortunately drowned /on the 5th May 1851aged 51 years /he was an affectionate/ Son, Brother and Husband/a Sincere Friend and Christian/and one of the noblest works of God/an Honest man/CATHERINE H BRADBY /widow of the above/died June 17th 1873/aged 89 years/
