Main inscription not known, but on pedistal: "LIFT UP YOUR HEARTS IN CHRIST 1914-1918." On brass plaque: THE INSTALLING OF THE ELECTRIC LIGHTING SYSTEM IN THIS CHURCH IN OCTOBER 1921 WAS ASSOCIATED WITH THE PLACING OF THE OAKEN TABLET TO COMMEMORATE THE MEN OF THE PARISH WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1918.
