- Description
- Gothic arcade and vaulted rood screen in oak with six bays: the central four panels carry the names on bronze plaques, the outer bays contain doorways to the east transept. Over the doorways are the mottoes 'Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori', and 'Ex spinis uvas celestes' (case unknown). Vine work on frieze. Bronze plaque to the right carries the background information: a second, WW2 brass plaque is rectangular with the School badge at the top and the dedication in black lettering below. A further WW1 plaque upon which are an additional 36 names was added in 2018.
