Description
Stone Arched entrance to Peel Park, clad with marble panels which carry six bronze name panels and additional bronze lettering. There are both main and side iron entrance gates.

On the outside (street side) of the gates- Over Left Gate-1914- [2 names plaques below- for Adams to Joseph Edgar & W Ferguson to Thomas Lawrie, each plaque has the names in 2 columns] Over Central Gate- IN REMEMBRANCE Over Right Gate-1939- [2 names plaques below-for Alexander Leitch to John Perrie & Malcolm Pollock to Hugh Young, each plaque has the names in 2 columns] On the inside of the gates- Over Left Hand Gate-1939- [names plaque below for Adam to James McAldine, in a single column] Over Central Gate-THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE Over Right Hand Gate-1945- [names plaque below for Robert McAuslane to Robert Young, in a single column]
