Description
A block of large grey stones with a stone/slate top. Commemorative metal plaques, with gold lettering listing the casualty numbers on each Maru are affixed to each face. The memorial is placed on a bed of slate chippings and is located in a paved area outside the FEPOW building adjacent to a similar memorial (72922) dedicated to the FEPOWs who died as a result of the sinking of the Suez Maru.
