Description
A gothic topped stone gravestone with shaped sides. There is an incised carving of an up-side down bunch of flowers at the top. The grave is kerbed.

WALES./ DIED AGED 89. 10TH FEB. 1895./ “GREAT ARE THY TENDER MERCIES, O LORD”./ ALSO OF HER SON/ ENSIGN HARRY L. MARSH, 16TH B.N.I./ KILLED IN ACTION, NEAR AGRA, 1857./ AGED 22./ ALSO OF/ SOPHIA FREDERICA AUGUSTA/ DEARLY BELOVED WIFE OF/ MAJOR-GENERAL F.H.B. MARSH/ INDIAN ARMY/ WHO DIED JULY 7TH 1918, AGED 62./ BELOVED BY ALL/ PRECIOUS IN THE SIGHT OF THE LORD IS THE/ DEATH OF HIS SAINTS. PSALM 116. 13.
