Details: Erected by Charles Stacey (late 160463 Sapper, Royal Engineers) and Alfred Stacey (late 855 Private, West Somerset Yeomanry and 295116 Somerset Light Infantry) , two brothers who served and who built the house in which front garden the memorial stands. In November 2018 a member of the family still lives in the house whose deeds mention the shell. A third brother, Wallace, was killed in 1917 and is buried at Gaza (31541 Shoeing Smith, Warwickshire Yeomanry)
