- Description
- Steel structure with three leaning pillars, representing each of the British services, connected by a ring of steel on which the commemoration is inscribed in English, Arabic and Latin. The structure is set on a circular stepped platform of 47 York stone flagstones inscribed with the names of the fallen. At the centre of the platform is a black granite circular tablet engraved with an image of the reverse of the Gulf Medal. Information plaques are located by the memorial.
