Description

A plain light coloured rectangular tablet set into a mottled brown marble surround. The lettering is dark. The surround projects at the corners and has an ogee top. The space at the top of the surround appears to be carved with a crest.

Inscription

TO THE GLORY OF GOD / AND IN GRATEFUL MEMORY OF THE MEN OF THIS / PARISH, WHO DIED FOR COUNTRY, JUSTICE AND / FREEDOM. IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1918 // (names) // IN CHRIST SHALL WE BE MADE ALIVE: I COR XX 22.
